ByrneWallace advises Dalco Nitrogen Systems on €1.9m Bombardier deal

Thursday, 22 July 2010

Dalco Nitrogen Systems has just secured a deal with Bombardier Aerospace in Belfast to provide them with nitrogen gas generating systems for the production of their new CSeries commuter airplanes. The deal saves Bombardier Aerospace approximately £1m sterling per year and also results in greatly lower carbon emissions when compared with the conventional alternative of buying bulk nitrogen.

Dalco Nitrogen Systems are headquartered in Co. Meath but also have offices in the UK and Australia. The company designs, manufactures and installs bespoke nitrogen generating systems for clients in the food, aerospace, pharmaceutical and beverage sectors.

Feargal Brennan, partner, leads the ByrneWallace Dalco team and he advised the company on all aspects of this deal. We look forward to working with Dalco management again on future projects, as they look to expand into Eastern European, Middle Eastern and American markets. ByrneWallace is Ireland’s leading provider of legal services to the green economy and the first to establish a dedicated Green Economy Group.

Bombardier Aerospace will use Dalco’s new nitrogen gas generation system in the production of its new CSeries commuter jets, like the CS300 pictured above.
