ByrneWallace hosts Life Sciences Ireland (IEA) regional meeting
Wednesday, 12 May 2010
Life Sciences Ireland is an industry grouping within the Irish Exporters Association (IEA). It was established in 2008 to develop and deliver training for logistics, transport and storage operators in the life sciences sector. We are delighted to have hosted the group’s Dublin Regional meeting on 12 May 2010 which featured presentations from: Dr. PJ Fitzpatrick, Consultant and Former Head Technology Convergence at IDA Ireland who outlined the future opportunities for the Irish Life Science sector looking at converging technologies and the potential to deliver services internationally from Ireland; Jim Bracken, Chief Executive Officer GS1 Ireland, who focused on the increasing demands for traceability across the supply chain from manufacturer to the healthcare providers; and Barbara O’Neill, Associate ByrneWallace, who gave an update on the ever-changing regulatory landscape for medical devices in Ireland.
The ByrneWallace Life Sciences Group is headed by Colin Sainsbury (csainsbury@byrnewallace.com). We fully support the broad focus of Life Sciences Ireland in its efforts to support multinational and indigenous life sciences companies in their international trade and supply chain activities.
