Russian market potential highlighted at breakfast briefing

ByrneWallace hosted a breakfast briefing on 29th April 2010 for members of the Ireland Russia Business Association. The briefing highlighted the immense potential for Irish companies looking to expand to the Russian market and outlined the necessary frameworks for understanding and successfully managing Irish-Russian business connections.

The briefing featured presentations from Dr. Jacob Eisenberg, senior lecturer at the UCD Smurfit Graduate School of Business, and Michelle Dervan from Enterprise Ireland. Dr. Eisenberg spoke about cultural management frameworks and how through improved knowledge of different cultural values businesses can make inter-cultural encounters more effective and ultimately successful. Michelle covered Enterprise Ireland’s activities in the Russian market and highlighted how they can assist Irish companies looking to expand there.
