Stokes Bio Limited and Monsanto in major international licensing deal

BCM Hanby Wallace advised Stokes Bio Limited on a major international licensing and R&D collaboration agreement with Monsanto, a global agricultural and biotechnology company.
 
The collaboration between Stokes Bio and Monsanto represents a significant global win for Ireland’s life sciences industry and is aimed at tackling the world’s future food needs. The companies are working together to dramatically accelerate plant breeding by using a new Stokes Bio system that brings all the stages of gene analysis into a single process. The approach revolutionizes the genetic analysis of biological samples and promises to speed up scientific discovery in this vital area of agricultural research.
