Catherine has been a partner in the firm's Property Division since 1998. She works with a wide range of clients, acting in all types of property acquisition and investment and development proposals. This includes land acquisition and sales, mixed commercial and residential development schemes, significant commercial development schemes and tax driven investments. The projects in which she has acted entail substantial involvement on planning issues, advices on and working with local authorities on issues relating to CPOs and funding matters. Catherine also sits on the firm's management committee.

Key transaction experience

Recent projects where Catherine continues to act include a number of proposed substantial mixed use developments (incorporating a significant retail element , together with residential and commercial elements) including:

  • The proposed Bray Town Centre, the proposed redevelopment by Arnotts of the Northern Quarter at Henry Street Dublin and the proposed Balbriggan Town Centre.
  • Catherine has also advised in relation to hotel developments and tax structuring, substantial office developments and leases on both the landlord and tenant side and she continues to act for various consortia with respect to the acquisition and proposed development of residential and mixed use schemes .
