Darren Daly - Partner
Darren is a Partner in the firm's Corporate Department and advises on both general corporate law matters and also provides specialist advice on intellectual property, ICT, e-commerce, data protection and life sciences issues. Darren advises on all areas of general corporate law with particular emphasis on advising private companies on mergers and acquisitions, private equity fundraisings, restructurings, and general commercial contracts such as agency and distribution arrangements, franchising and outsourcing agreements. Darren also has extensive experience in advising clients on intellectual property matters (primarily copyright, patents, trademarks and designs), ICT (including software developing and licensing), the legal aspects of e-commerce and online trading (including SaaS and cloud computing issues), and data protection. Darren is recommended in several publications as a leading lawyer in the intellectual property and ICT sectors.

- Advising the Olympic Council of Ireland in relation to licensing and sponsorship agreements and the protection of the Olympic brand in Ireland.
- Advising Mount Carmel Medical Group on its outsourcing arrangements with Aramark Managed Services.
- Advising a range of Irish technology companies such as LeT Systems, CR2 and Adaptive Mobile Technologies in relation to software licensing issues.
