Ross is a Corporate Partner in ByrneWallace LLP’s Corporate Department since July 2022. 

Ross has extensive transactional experience in excess of over 20 years, advising both Irish and international clients on a range of transactions. He specialises in Corporate M&A, fundraisings (from a company and investor perspective), joint ventures and shareholder structuring matters, restructurings, venture capital / debt and general corporate matters. He has ECM experience having acted on a significant number of AIM IPOs and Reverse Takeovers.

• Advised a global health software company in relation to its acquisition of a leading healthcare software provider in Ireland.
• Advised a leading Australian software company on its acquisition of an Irish analytics software-as-a-service company specialising in employee engagement through innovative technology systems.
• Advised Industrial Water Management on its acquisition of Greencastle Technology, the Dublin based supplier of water purification equipment and associated consultancy services.
• Advised the shareholders of Irish headquartered wireless infrastructure leader, Vilicom Engineering Group, on its sale to global communications infrastructure provider, BAI Communications.
• Advised a Dublin based sustainable energy group on its €4m Series Seed fundraise.
• Advised shareholders of Industrial Water Management, on its sale to EnviroChemie Group, a leader in industrial water technology solutions, and part of the Germany based SKion Water Group.
• Advised a German AG in relation to an Irish Limited Partnership structure investing in €100m Irish renewables infrastructure fund.
• Advised the management of Irish headquartered wireless infrastructure leader, Vilicom Engineering Group, on its leveraged management buy-out.
• Advising Irish engineering group on its acquisition by NASDAQ listed SPAC on a share for share basis.
• Advised a leading Australian Investment Fund in relation to its disposal of 100 MW portfolio of Northern Irish and Irish wind farm assets.
• Advised eEnergy Group plc (formally known as Alexander Mining plc) on its reverse takeover of Irish energy group, eLight Holdings, simultaneous fundraising, and readmission to AIM.
• Advised mineral explorer Erris Resources plc on its fundraising and admission to AIM.
• Advised a leading listed UK DIY retailer on the Irish corporate aspects of its examinership and restructuring.
• Advised on the sale by way of a competitive auction process of well know Irish headquartered hotel chain for €1.165bn.
• Advised Norwegian based fuel company of the sale of its Irish forecourt business by way of competitive auction, for €260m.
• Advised a US based investment manager on the Irish regulatory aspects of its acquisition of an EFT product range offered by a Swiss investment manager.
• Advised a major AIM listed mining plc on the spin off of its diamond interests to newco plc by way of an Irish High Court approved Scheme of Arrangement and the subsequent fundraising and admission of the newco plc to AIM.
