ByrneWallace LLP Supports Law Society Trainees Table Quiz in aid of the Irish Red Cross appeals for Ukraine and Gaza

ByrneWallace LLP was delighted to support the Law Society of Ireland’s Trainees Table Quiz which took place in the Vanilla Café in Blackhall Place on Wednesday, 21 February in aid of the Irish Red Cross appeals for Ukraine and Gaza.

The event was organised by the Law Society of Ireland’s EU & International Affairs Committee along with PPC Connect. ByrneWallace LLP Partner and Head of Infrastructure, Construction and Energy Martin Cooney, a committee member, was one of the organisers.  

The sold-out event saw 77 trainees, across 18 teams, competing on the night with all funds raised being split 50:50 to support the Red Cross efforts in Ukraine and the Red Crescent’s efforts in Gaza. Amongst those competing were trainees from ByrneWallace LLP - Padraig O’Connor, Jack Binchy, Shane Fitzpatrick, Annie Connolly, Michelle Heffernan and Vanisha Finlay. 

There was also a raffle on the night with law firms donating various prizes. ByrneWallace LLP donated the prize for the quiz winners.
